Bina's Story

At a busy departmental store in Chennai, the security man heard a strange sound
from a bag on a storage shelf. In one of the shopping bags checked in for safe
keeping, he found a tiny new born baby. The store waited awhile to see if anyone
would come to claim the infant, eventually they contacted the local police
station. And from the police station, found her way to Karnaprayag.
Today Bina is the centre of attention in a large joint family in Chennai, where aunts and cousins and grandparents make much of her. She is growing up confident, secure and happy.
