The Srinivasan's Story
  • [To protect the identity of the children, names and photographs have been changed]

"We saw your newspaper notice in August 2005 and came to you. You gave us our little girl in December 2006.
Everyone at Karnaprayag from the watchman at the gate to the managing committee members, is cordial, straight forward and truly professional. The whole process was explained to us on our very first visit and there were no deviations from the expectations we had. No false promises, no bias, no failed commitments.

We were amazed to see the parents and their kids at the April 07 get together. They were so well matched. If it were some other occasion we would not have believed that these children were adopted. All the kids looked like their parents ... 100%. Adoption is such a sensitive process and we are so proud of Karnaprayg's careful approach. I am happy that there is an organisation like yours doing a noble job well."

    The Srinivasans.

Sita’s story
Sita was abandoned at birth in a Government hospital.  Her parents just disappeared shortly after she was born. The address they gave the hospital on was fictitious and there was no way to trace them.
